Overview
As part of Elavon Europe, the role sits in the European Scheme Team and focuses on delivering scheme-related projects and sales support programs in Europe, with a focus on Poland. The role reports to the Head of Scheme Partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Working within the European Scheme Team that covers all scheme related activity, management and operations
- This position is responsible for the delivery and successful implementation of Scheme related projects and sales support related programs within Europe, reporting into the Head of Scheme Partnerships, with a focus on Poland
- Promotes scheme acceptance programs in order to achieve full participation and success within all designated locations and relevant business lines
- Monitors sales results and is involved in the training of the sales force to help ensure that sales and service goals are met.
- Acts as a liaison with Card Scheme Maintains knowledge of all products and services offered by card scheme Day to day performance management and analysis, driving enablement for volume growth
- Monthly reports and presentations to the sales function to improve acceptance
- Ensures the consistent and successful implementation of centralized initiatives and communications at local market level
- Actively participates in and drives relevant projects with value-based outcomes
- Support with customer facing discussion on cards to drive acceptance
- Escalation Management
- Implementation/roll out of Operational process efficiencies and/or Gap analysis for the relevant scheme, working with operations and compliance
Role requirements
- 5+ year experience in Account or Relationship Management, experience in Payments is a strong plus
- Good knowledge or European payments landscape
- Knowledge of Poland market is a strong plus
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of contractual opportunities
- Strong negotiation, communication and influencing skills
- Ability to work cross functional and across different markets
- Good analytical skills; creating insight out of data
- Good organizational and project management skills
- Effective presentation and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in Polish required
- The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means theres an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
