Packaging Buyer

Your responsibilities

• Management of packaging suppliers – negotiation, evaluation, follow-up of the cooperation
• Provision of consumable packaging: cardboard and plastic and returnable packaging: pool rental and repair of packaging services
• Assures packaging replenishment on-time based on planning – production 24/7
• Purchasing orders administration
• Cooperation with production plants and planning
• Assures quality of packaging purchased according to standards and specifications
• Procurement of new suppliers
• Participation in projects regarding packaging optimization
• Preparation of reports needed regarding operation and costs
• Occasional business trips

Our requirements

• University degree (preferably in management, engineering, logistics)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position
• Fluent in Polish and English
• Proactive attitude and willingness to look for a new solutions
• Independence, responsibility and commitment
• Communication skills, openness to cooperation
• High interpersonal skills and ease in establishing contacts
• Proficiency in Excel
• Negotiation skills
• Driving license
• SAP knowledge
