We are looking for a seasoned Procure to Pay (P2P) Global Process Owner who is experienced in design, implementation, and maintenance of business processes, preferably in a service delivery company.

ISS has opened new offices in Poland, Warsaw, and Gdansk, where you will join the Global Process Owners team. The team aims at global unification of processes that are currently diverse and served by different tools in multiple locations.

Main purpose of the position

The Global Process Owner for P2P drives standardisation of the P2P process and sets enterprise-wide vision, strategy, and performance objectives for the P2P process.

The Global Process Owner for P2P is accountable for maintaining a robust and scalable process design and taxonomy that satisfies the requirements of the business and supports the ISS Finance and Operational vision and objectives. The Global Process Owner for P2P will apply best practices, propose, and implement improvements whilst adhering to the governance process by ensuring appropriate stakeholders and decision makers are part of the design and implementation of processes.

Your job will consist of the following:

  • Analyze current state.
  • Define and agree on the direction of process improvements.
  • Design process diagrams.
  • Design their KPIs.
  • Design their operational controls.
  • Maintain dependencies with processes of other areas.
  • Document those in process management tool.
  • Identify gaps between future and current state.
  • Implement and align processes to local fiscal and legal requirements.
  • Support mapping the processes against tools capabilities.
  • Create Work Procedures for the processes designed.
  • Be a part of the testing effort, verifying applicability of the tools.
  • Monitor, maintain and improve the processes in an ongoing cycle.
  • Provide suggestions to other Process Owners.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring strong stakeholder management skills, a commercial mindset, and, as importantly, robust process expertise. More specifically, the experience and personal competencies needed to fulfill the position are:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in P2P area, preferably in a service delivering company. A strong business acumen of:

- Sourcing and contracting.

- Requisitioning and ordering.

- Receipt and invoice matching.

- Cost allocation.

- Payments.

- Employee expenses.

- Intercompany settlements.

- Reporting.

  • Minimum 4 years of work in a large cross-functional team spanning multiple geography-based delivery.
  • Track record in process improvement, with tangible, measured results. Good understanding of people, processes, and tools interdependencies. Knowledgeable about P2P process best practices. Ability to resolve complex problems with little to no guidance.
  • Excellent questioning and listening skills, with strong influencing talents. Approachable and able to communicate effectively at all levels, with excellent relationship management.
  • Capable of facilitating with teams i.e. design sessions, conflict resolutions, brainstorming etc. Possess coaching skills to share information and knowledge effectively with colleagues. Skilled at leading and coordinating across diverse teams to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities, having a proactive hands-on approach.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting and interfacing with C-Level Executives is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of ERP system (preferably Microsoft Navision).
  • Knowledge of procurement solution (preferably Coupa Platform).
  • Knowledge of OCR solution (preferably ReadSoft).

Reporting line

Role reports to Head of Global Processes.

The role will interact directly with all levels of management in Purchasing, Services, Accounting and other business functions, but not have line management responsibilities.
