AP Associate - Payments

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all payments are processed upon approved invoices or other documents within the agreed timeframe
2. Ensure all rejected payments are followed up to root cause and explained
3. Together with Zoetis Treasury Teams (ZTC) maintain relationship with banks and ensure appropriate access and trainings
4. Ensure currency forecasts and appropriate to allow for payments
5. Prepare relevant payment reports to internal or external stakeholders (e.g. National Banks)
6. Support helpdesk team in answering questions related to payments
7. Provide P2P process research and proactively identify and resolve issues and risks as necessary
8. Responsible for the timely reporting of key financials and compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level agreements (SLAs)
9. Manage applicable technology systems and follow procedures for, performing month end activities to include GL and Sub-Ledger reconciliation for Accounts Payable, as well as processing of cash disbursements / urgent payments
10. Ensure robust compliance environment with SOX, internal controls, accounting policies and procedures
11. Assist Accounts Payable Team Lead, P2P Manager and Global Process Owner (GPO) in identifying and implementing process improvements and best practices within Accounts Payable area

Requirements:

1. Undergraduate degree in Finance / Accounting
2. Experience working in P2P positions
3. Hands on experience with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle)
4. Good command of English
5. Ability to work in culturally diverse teams
6. Customer focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills
