Primary Responsibilities
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of approximately 10–12 Accountants and Senior Accountants, reporting directly to the Order-to-Cash (OtC) Process Manager.
- Monitor and evaluate the team’s performance in relation to OtC accounting activities.
- Ensure adherence to internal control systems and compliance standards.
Operational Responsibilities
- Support transformational projects.
- Serve as the primary operational contact between Affiliates and GBS, supporting finance-related processes.
- Drive and support both the direct team and the wider GBS team to achieve shared objectives and deliver process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the OtC team, ensuring effective day-to-day operations.
- Oversee staff training, development, and succession planning.
- Provide regular feedback, coaching, and guidance to team members.
- Manage the performance appraisal process and support the career development of direct reports.
- Represent the OtC team in internal and external meetings and workshops.
- Maintain a hands‑on approach—understanding individual team members’ tasks and stepping in when necessary.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Monitor and define KPIs, ensuring performance targets are met.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans in collaboration with the OtC Process Manager.
- Ensure all processes comply with local and corporate policies, regulations, and legal requirements.
- Compile, analyze, verify, and reconcile financial transaction data to ensure accurate accounting and control of funds.
- Collaborate closely with other Finance teams (AP, RTR, Tax, Treasury, External Tax Advisors, Project Teams) to ensure efficient financial operations and support business functions across Europe.
Required Knowledge & Skills and/or Related Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance, ideally in the Accounts Receivable (AR) area.
- Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Strong leadership capabilities and people management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Proactive and driven, with a positive, solution‑oriented mindset.
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and communicating effectively across business units.
- Self‑reliant, highly motivated, and results‑focused.
