Main purpose of the position

In this position, you will be responsible for the allocation of funds. It is the process of allocating money to specific accounts to achieve financial goals to ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet the immediate and short-term obligations of our organization. In this process, it is also important to maintain constant contact with our suppliers and prepare data for reports on these activities.

What you will do:

• Ensure accurate posting of cash transactions to appropriate customer accounts
• Prepare, monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging to identify potential risk and opportunities
• Independently perform monthly tasks, including the accurate posting of monthly sales reports. 
• Handle cash allocations and credit notes, resolving any related customer inquiries promptly. 
• Generate and distribute account statements and invoices, maintaining accuracy and timeliness. 
• Carry out dunning process and send out reminders to customers
• Process accounts reconciliations as needed. 
• Assist in month, quarter and year-end closing activities
• Handle requests by email and phone.
• Work with team lead to deliver continuous improvement and support initiatives to maintain the integrity of the systems

Professional skills you possess:

• Bachelor’s degree or student of economics, finance, accounting, or related field (preferred). 
• Prior experience in Customer Set up and Maintenance, Cash Application, or Cash Collections, including internships. 
• Former experience with systems: SAP, Concur would be advantageous but not essential
• Proficient in Excel, including lookup formulas and pivot tables.
• Fluent in English min. B2 (Danish language would be advantageous but not essential)

Personal skills you excel:

• Bachelor’s degree or student of economics, finance, accounting, or related field (preferred).
• Prior experience in Customer Set up and Maintenance, Cash Application, or Cash Collections, including internships.
• Proficient in Excel, including lookup formulas and pivot tables Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.
• Fluency in English.
