This role is part of a Global Finance Services team within the broader Global Finance Services & Group Controllers function. The Order-to-Cash (O2C) team is responsible for designing processes, selecting supporting technologies, and delivering operational service excellence.
Your responsibilities
Work globally with stakeholders and colleagues across the business on initiatives; use your knowledge and expertise to act as the single point of contact for embedding standard processes for O2C within the business.
Identify potential opportunities to fix or improve existing solutions, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across the end-to-end process.
Support team members and colleagues by providing enhancements to address operational challenges and positively influence business outcomes and customer experience.
Work collaboratively across organizational and geographical boundaries to ensure service levels are maintained or improved.
Use data and analytics to identify opportunities, develop business cases, and drive and embed positive change.
Collaborate to maximise the use of dedicated O2C technology, maintaining a good working knowledge of the interplay between O2C activities and SAP Cloud.
Focus on efficiency by identifying how technology can reduce manual intervention, benchmarking metrics against external comparators, and identifying trends, investigating them, and proposing corrective actions where needed.
Manage an O2C Analyst, supporting their work and development in line with business objectives.
Our requirements
To succeed at this job, you must have:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience of Order to Cash (O2C) in a global corporate environment utilising SAP - ideally SAP S4HANA / SAP cloud
Experienced in project delivery. Being part of a matrix team designing and delivering standard systems and processes through the entire project delivery lifecycle.
Energetic, proactive and self-motivated with the capability to build strong internal and external relationships with stakeholders
Professional curiosity with a proven ability to investigate issues to ascertain true root cause, identify solutions and deploy successfully either independently or as part of a team
Strong communication skills both orally and written – English is required
Educated to degree level with relevant professional qualification(‘s)
The ability to manage multiple projects effectively
It would be preferred if you have:
Working knowledge of Finance Systems in relevant process area (Sales Order to Cash – SOTC) (collections, cash application and deductions, and Sales order management.
Relevant experience gained by working in both design and operational roles
Proven experience of delivering and managing change
