As we expand our R&D and optimization capabilities, we are looking for a specialist with strong algorithmic and mathematical background to help us design, prototype, and validate optimization models that support supply chain decision-making — from demand allocation and production planning to inventory management and phase-in/phase-out processes.
As an Optimization & Data Science Specialist, you will collaborate with our solution architects, data scientists, and business consultants to translate complex business problems into mathematical models and algorithms. You will coordinate with other teams and domain experts within the company, as well as with business stakeholders on our customers’ side to deep dive into customer’s data and use cases, propose solutions, apply machine learning to generate business value, drive insights and define the logic and constraints behind optimization engines — ensuring that our customers’ planning processes are efficient, realistic, and scalable.
responsibilities :
Analyze business processes (e.g., demand allocation, supply planning, inventory optimization) and translate them into mathematical formulations.
Develop, test, and validate optimization, support the design of new optimization-based modules
Work closely with solution architects to integrate mathematical models into production-grade solutions and platforms.
Develop frameworks for and perform scenario testing and sensitivity analyses to validate robustness of optimization logic.
Document model assumptions, constraints, and results in a clear, business-oriented way.
Provide guidance and support to consultants working on optimization-related topics.
requirements-expected :
Proficiency in Python and have some experience with software development. You can write clean, well-structured, readable, efficient code.
Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills; ability to translate operational and organizational problems into mathematical abstractions, propose new strategies, develop action plans, and deliver products and actionable recommendations in a timely manner.
Strong background in operations research, data science, or mathematical optimization.
Practical experience with optimization solvers (e.g., Gurobi, CPLEX, CBC), modeling libraries (e.g., Pyomo, PuLP, AMPL, or similar).
You are a good communicator and can effectively cooperate with peers and clients. You are clear, curious, enthusiastic, and a good presenter. Fluent business English is necessary.
