Job Description:

We are looking for you, if you have:

1. 2-3 years of experience as a DevOps preferably in Financial Markets area,
2. good knowledge of Linux/UNIX (incl. script programming) and Oracle DB (or other SQL databases),
3. basic programming skills in any programming language (Java, Python, other),
4. experience operating, monitoring and supporting applications,
5. working knowledge of CI/CD,
6. experience with scripting languages and automation of manual activities (testing, deployment),
7. continuous Improvement mindset - you like to challenge yourself and the team,
8. team player attitude with very good communication skills,
9. basic knowledge and experience in Agile (ex. Scrum methodology),
10. analytical approach to problem solving.

Your responsibilities:

1. Incidents, tickets and requests management – solving & dispatching,
2. Daily operation (mailbox monitoring) and applications monitoring,
3. Monitoring and reporting database performance,
4. Meetings (Scrum events),
5. Implementation, improvement and management of the release pipeline including automated testing (functionally, non-functionally).

For our team in Poland, we are looking for an IT Application Support Engineer who is technically passionate, solution-focused and able to contribute to the design and development of a platform built using the ION trading platform API.

Our team is a part of the Financial Markets & Group Treasury Investing IT area of ING. We are responsible for the development and maintenance of the system used in the Financial Markets and Global Treasury. The team is dedicated to Security Financing and Equities business with stakeholders around the world.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer III”.
