The organization

 At our locations, over 3,000 dedicated professionals, including 900 nurses and 290 medical specialists across 26 medical disciplines, work tirelessly to provide exceptional care. Were also fortunate to have the support of over 300 volunteers. Our Ophthalmology Department, spanning in the province of North Holland, is home to seven ophthalmologists who practice a comprehensive range of services, with particular focus on cataract and strabismus surgery, eyelid surgery, medical retina, and pediatric ophthalmology. We also collaborate with the A-UMC to provide B-training for ophthalmologists, boasting state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.

What are you going to do?

As our enthusiastic and ambitious colleague, youll practice ophthalmology comprehensively in the province of North Holland. Supported by a team including optometrists, TOAs, PAs, interns, and two Residents, youll contribute eagerly to Residents educational tasks and pursue personal growth opportunities in alignment with your surgical, non-surgical, or medical management ambitions. Youll actively participate in departmental and organizational governance, committees, and boards, with the potential to assume the role of department chair if you possess prior specialist experience and aspire to leadership.
