We are seeking a talented and experienced Operations Manager to join our remote team in (Ideally based in Poland). The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of the Global Business Services (GBS), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), and Project Management Office (PMO) teams. This individual will ensure that team members are engaged, productive, and aligned with overall business objectives. The Operations Manager will be responsible for facilitating communication, tracking progress, and fostering a positive and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Oversight:
    • Monitor the activities and performance of team members, particularly within the GBS, BPO, and PMO teams.
    • Keep track of the billability of all team members.
  2. Daily Touch Bases:
    • Set up and lead daily/weekly/monthly touch base meetings to engage with team members, assess their workload, and ensure they are effectively utilising their time.
    • Track progress on ongoing projects and tasks, provide guidance, and identify any roadblocks or challenges that need to be addressed.
  3. Performance Management:
    • Analyse team output and individual performance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and training needs.
    • Implement strategies to enhance productivity, streamline operations, and promote best practices across the teams.
  4. Collaboration with Leadership:
    • Work closely with senior management to align team activities with company goals and objectives.
    • Provide regular updates and reports on team performance, project statuses, and any issues that could impact operations.
  5. Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements within GBS, BPO, and PMO operations to enhance efficiency and service delivery.

Keys to success:

  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a GBS or Shared Services environment.
  • Strong understanding of BPO processes and project management principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with team members and leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in technology and project management tools, with a strong aptitude for data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Comfortable working remotely and leading a distributed team.
