IT Operations & Production Support: Minimum 2 years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure monitoring.
Incident Management: Proficiency in handling real-time alerts, performing diagnostics, and escalating issues appropriately.
Monitoring Tools: Hands-on experience with Splunk, ServiceNow, and Bamcom UI.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Linux, MQ, SQL, and API monitoring.
Communication & Collaboration: Strong ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
Operational Documentation: Experience maintaining runbooks and support guides.
Secondary Skills:
Financial Messaging Standards: Exposure to SWIFT, ISO 20022, and middleware validation.
Agile & DevOps Practices: Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with DevOps principles.
Euroclear STP Ecosystem: Prior experience with Euroclear’s STP systems or similar financial transaction platforms.
Responsibilities
Operate the Level 1 STP Hotline within the GDC-STP Orchestration squad, handling real-time alerts and incident reports.
Monitor system health using tools such as Splunk, ServiceNow, and Bamcom UI.
Perform initial diagnostics and escalate to Level 2 support (Dev Engineers in squads like GDC-STP BCS, Com Frameworks, GCH, GMH, SWIFT) when necessary.
Maintain and update operational documentation including runbooks, queue manager access guides, CyberArk usage, and server connectivity procedures.
Participate in watch duty rotations to ensure 24/7 coverage in coordination with global support teams.
Document incidents, root causes, and resolutions in ServiceNow, contributing to continuous improvement of support processes.
Collaborate with Dev Engineers and Test Engineers to validate fixes and ensure production readiness.
Support onboarding of new flows and infrastructure changes, including MQ manager transitions and alert subscriptions.
