Operations Analyst - Funds Transfers Team
Job Description
As an Operations Analyst within the FundSettle Transfers Team, you will serve as a key intermediary between Euroclear’s FundSettle platform and external Transfer Agents (TAs). Your primary responsibility is to ensure the timely and accurate settlement of fund transfers, uphold high service standards, and mitigate operational risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, validate, and release transfer instructions via FundSettle.
- Monitor pending and rejected transfers, ensuring prompt resolution and settlement.
- Liaise with Transfer Agents, Fund Management Companies, and internal stakeholders (e.g. Client Services, Product Analysts) to resolve queries and expedite settlements.
- Ensure accurate and timely dispatch of transfer documentation to Transfer Agents.
- Follow up on contract notes and ensure adherence to internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate and resolve complex cases, including rejected or technically failed transfers.
- Escalate critical issues and contribute to the daily Critical Transfers report.
- Identify inefficiencies and propose process improvements to enhance settlement timeliness and service quality.
- Participate in monthly reviews of client queries and agent performance.
Profile & Requirements
- Solid understanding of banking products, services, and procedures relevant to the role.
- Prior experience in finance or a back‑office banking environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated polyvalence across team tasks and processes, with the ability to control and elevate appropriately.
- Capable of handling operations with elevated risk.
- Active contributor to team improvement initiatives and problem‑solving sessions.
- Ability to identify gaps in working methods and participate in the review of operational procedures.
- May be involved in transversal projects or initiatives.
