We are seeking an Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing and maintaining the loan portfolio of our funds, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all loan-related processes. You will work closely with trading, legal, and administrative teams to support timely and accurate secondary loan closings.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the loan portfolio, including:
- Tracking agent notices and updating repricing details in the system
- Recording all “PIK” (Payment in Kind) and paydown events
- Processing drawdowns and instructing funding
- Reconciling Lender of Record positions with agents/third parties
- Reconciling loan accruals and settlement cash
- Ensure all loan contracts and accruals align with administrator’s books and records
- Collaborate daily with the Financing Trading team and Administrator’s loans team
- Allocate new loan trades in ClearPar in line with the Order Management System (OMS)
- Review trade confirmations and assignment agreements
- Address transfer questions with legal/analyst and respond in ClearPar
- Monitor and reconcile Delayed Compensation and Cost of Carry on open trades
- Check Pricing Letters of closing trades in ClearPar and update/reconcile to OMS
- Monitor ClearPar timelines and follow up with counterparties and agents
- Drive timely secondary loan closings through proactive engagement and relationship building
Requirements
- Prior experience in a corporate secondary syndicated loans department
- Strong knowledge of ClearPar and LMA/LSTA loan documentation
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
