Operational Risk Specialist – Global Banking Technologies & Operations (GBTO)

Responsibilities
- Analyze and monitor compliance regarding the codification of banking processes, ensuring accurate risk assignments and periodic controls.
- Develop and codify controls related to risks arising from operational systems and processes, aligned with Group methodology and evolving control plan.
- Administer operational risk tools.
- Monitor KPIs and KRIs to identify and mitigate operational risks.
- Serve as a Risk Expert for GBTO offshoring and outsourcing agreements.
- Coordinate risk assessments for new products and significant process changes within GBTO.
- Participate actively in control missions conducted by the Second and Third Lines of Defense.
- Manage data quality and reporting, ensuring the completeness of data used for performance tasks and preparing comprehensive analyses for GBTO management.
Required Profile
- University degree in Economics or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in operational risk, internal audit, or a department focused on controlling operational processes.
- Industry knowledge: familiarity with risk solutions within the banking sector and understanding of relevant supervisory regulations.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a strong advantage.
- Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with PowerBI is a plus.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Well‑organized, proactive, and driven to improve effectiveness while minimizing risk.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team, even under time pressure.
