Hudson Talent Solutions, on behalf of our global chemical manufacturing client, is seeking an Operational Planning Specialist. The client offers a hybrid working with the office located in Warsaw, Poland.
About the Role
The Operational Planning Specialist supports daily purchasing operations within the Supply Chain Team. The role involves accurate processing of purchase orders, stock transfer orders, coordination with external vendors and logistics partners. It requires maintaining comprehensive internal documentation throughout the order-to-delivery cycle. The specialist collaborates cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely fulfillment of stocks on assigned warehouses. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in relevant systems are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and validate domestic, import, intercompany purchase orders/stock transfer orders
- Cross-check purchase orders against supplier agreements for accuracy and completeness
- Liaise with internal teams (customer service, procurement, logistics, accounts payable, quality team) and external parties (suppliers, warehouses) in order to arrange timely deliveries of the materials/equipment
- Track shipments and support issue resolution such as delivery complaints or returns
- Manage purchasing records and supporting documents (e.g., invoices, delivery notes, certificates)
- Support performance tracking, including On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery metrics
- Assist in preparing reports and maintaining up-to-date supplier files
- Follow up the deliveries and keep optimal stocks in warehouses
- Troubleshooting of operational issues
