Within the Global Banking Technology & Operations Service Unit - Financing (GBTO/FTB), you will be responsible for a team of Operational Middle Officers. In collaboration with your management, you will be the main point of contact for the Head of the Business Lines concerned for your activities (Structured Finance Syndicated and Bilateral Loans) and will be responsible for the post-closing amendments/events and will ensure that the portfolio is well monitored. You will have to carry out all these tasks in close coordination and collaboration in dual office with the ATM (Agency & Transactions Management) Paris teams.

Your future scope of responsibility will cover:

  1. Manage the waivers/amendments of the Structured Financing Operations (syndicated Loans, Bilateral loans, guarantee issuances) and their impacts on the management tools input (Loan IQ, Covtrack, etc.) on the transactions originated by the Front Office like actors coordination, legal documentation analysis, collection and check of approvals, input and validation in the systems.
  2. Manage and monitor Post-closing tasks like Data quality and accuracy maintenance.
  3. Process and update management indicators on a daily basis (OPAL, SOA, DQ, Mapping Tool, etc.).
  4. Report incidents/complaints to your manager and in the dedicated tools according to the deadlines and best practices defined.
  5. Participate actively in the management of transversal tasks for the service.
  6. Participate in the continuous improvement of processes/procedures relating to all the tasks performed by the team and participate in the training of new joiners to develop and maintain expertise.
  7. Answer questions from internal/inspection and external auditors in a timely manner.
  8. Monitor and supervise recommendations (NFAs) and associated action plans within the given timeframe.
  9. Perform operational and managerial supervision controls allocated in dedicated tools.
  10. Participate in internal training (e-learning or presential training) within the deadlines set.
  11. Be the privileged interlocutor of the business lines and as such ensure the direct link with them on the performance of your team regarding portfolio risk issues.
  12. Dynamically manage the teams activity, track the teams collective and individual performance, anticipate resource needs.
  13. Supervise and ensure close follow-up of the team.

You will be best suited for this role if:

  • You have management experience and are a true Team Leader who creates the necessary conditions and uses modern management methods within the team.
  • You have experience in the finance industry in structured finance operations.
  • You have excellent English language skills (both written and spoken).
  • You have a strong ability to maintain high-level loyal and cooperative relationships with external and internal clients.
  • You have the ability to dynamically and efficiently manage a team of specialists by maintaining an excellent level of service to both external and internal clients.
  • You demonstrate strong commercial acumen and are extremely attentive to customer needs.
  • You have excellent analytical, synthesis, adaptability skills, rigorous, proactivity, and sense of anticipation.
  • You have the ability to express opinions clearly and to defend ones convictions with convincing arguments.
