Main Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end activities Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, including purchase requests, order confirmations, management of price and quantity discrepancies, invoice payment release, supplier creation, and catalogue maintenance.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and other conditions with suppliers.
- Support strategic supplier management initiatives, including supplier qualification, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Identify process inefficiencies and improvement opportunities, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
- Handle inquiries from suppliers and internal requesters in a timely and professional manner.
- Resolve complex issues and manage complaints to ensure a high level of stakeholder satisfaction.
- Collaborate actively with cross-functional teams such as Finance and local business units to ensure smooth process execution.
- Prepare daily and ad-hoc reports within agreed service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Contribute to the creation, and maintenance of process documentation.
- Participate in both local and global projects, supporting process harmonization and standardization efforts.
- Engage in cross-functional initiatives aimed at optimizing the overall Purchase-to-Pay process and resolving issues.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional experience, preferably in Purchasing, Customer Service, or Accounts Payable.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish (written and verbal) — fluency required.
- Proficient level of English (minimum B2).
- Solid understanding of purchasing principles, tools, and the end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay process.
- Basic knowledge of strategic and tactical sourcing, as well as category management concepts.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Practical experience with SAP, SAP Ariba, or ServiceNow is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proactive mindset with strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to work independently.
- Team-oriented attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global environment.
