We are seeking an experienced OpenStack Engineer to manage, optimize, and expand our OpenStack-based cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of OpenStack components, networking, and storage systems, with a strong focus on delivering scalable and reliable solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support and enhance cloud operations.
responsibilities :
Design, deploy, and manage OpenStack environments for private and hybrid cloud infrastructures.
Configure and optimize OpenStack services such as Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, Swift, and Glance.
Troubleshoot and resolve OpenStack-related issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Monitor and improve performance across compute, networking, and storage layers.
Collaborate with storage teams to integrate and manage block storage solutions in OpenStack.
Automate deployment and configuration tasks using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
Implement and enforce security best practices within the OpenStack ecosystem.
Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for OpenStack environments.
Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to integrate OpenStack services into CI/CD pipelines.
Provide support and expertise for system migrations, upgrades, and scaling.

3+ years of hands-on experience with OpenStack deployment and management.
Strong understanding of OpenStack components and architecture (Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, etc.).
Proficiency in Linux system administration, including expertise with distributions such as Ubuntu or CentOS.
Experience with networking protocols and technologies (e.g., VLAN, VXLAN, SDN).
Knowledge of storage systems and configurations (Ceph, NFS, or iSCSI).
Familiarity with scripting and automation using tools like Bash, Python, or Ansible.
Understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., KVM, QEMU).
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve OpenStack performance and configuration issues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
