Sitting within HSBCs Global Digital Business Services, Open Banking Shared Service (OBSS) is a joint product and technology, cross line of business function responsible for the implementation and ongoing management of HSBC’s Open Banking channels globally. This role is within the Product Management side of the function, which includes business operational support, live service management, provision of technical production support for external Third Party Providers (TPP) on behalf of HSBC and on-boarding of new services into the live production environment.
The job holder will be responsible for various aspects of Open Banking MI globally and will work with the technical MI experts to maintain an e2e view of OB MI globally. The scope of this work includes regulatory and business MI as well as internally and externally generated MI. The job holder will be able to collate MI from various sources, review to ensure integrity, present in a logical and easily consumable format, identify trends and recommend areas for improvement. They will also support the MI product owner with ongoing MI tooling improvements.
responsibilities :
Maintain the Open Banking MI database; collate all monthly and ad hoc MI for OB channels globally and update the database
Conduct quality data analysis: review MI for completeness, consistency, and correctness
Raise any issues identified with the MI product owner
Work with the Open Banking technology teams to prioritize and resolve any issues
Develop and maintain the Open Banking Power BI reporting dashboards
Analyze MI to identify trends, issues and areas for improvement
Improve data workflow documentation and support the MI Product Owner in creating monthly reports and presentations
Support the MI Product Owner with the ongoing improvement of MI repositories and reporting automation and build a tool supporting forecasting for the future adoption and usage of the Open Banking channel

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI (DAX/M), SharePoint Online
Strong numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills
Some experience in business analysis or data analytics
Good English language skills (B2 or higher)
