Polish Public Television is seeking candidates for the following position at TVP World :

Online News Editor

Location: Warsaw

Responsibilities:

• editing articles to the highest quality, ensuring the highest standards of journalism are met and that the website has a strong balance of stories,
• mentoring journalists, providing constructive feedback on their stories, and offering guidance on how to improve their work, when needed,
• participating in editorial meetings and selecting stories for the website.

Requirements:

• extensive English-language experience in the print media or news wires,
• very good (C1) or native spoken and written English,
• excellent feel for the language and style used in English media,
• ability to work under time pressure,
• availability to work on weekends and holidays,
• Polish language is a definite plus as is a good knowledge of Central European politics, history, and culture.
