Responsibilities

  • Participate (or lead if less complex) in the process and technology transformation projects within Finance, supporting Transformation Consultants and Transformation Managers in successful development of agreed project deliverables for internal as well as for external clients
  • Participate (or lead if less complex) in projects related to target operating model design, process design, process and technology maturity assessment, benchmarking, GBS/SSC setup, automation potential assessment, ERP/Platform solutions implementation, RPA implementation, transition, training delivery, change management and similar
  • Apply process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma / DGEM Benchmarking, ESOAR, 5 Senses of Intelligent Automation) to the area of expertise for continuous improvement and transformation
  • Operate as Subject Matter Expert and trusted advisor for clients within the area of expertise; stay informed about technology developments and suggest process and technology improvements
  • Act as a Stream Lead or Project Lead (for less complex projects), with accountability for high-quality deliverables, QA on deliverables from junior team members, and coaching of project team members
  • Analyze data and information from the client and provide improvement recommendations to steer the transformation journey
  • Present ideas persuasively to the client, challenge conventional views, resolve conflicts, and gain buy-in to achieve outcomes
  • Organize and facilitate client meetings within own business area to drive consensus among stakeholders
  • Support development of transformational assets and methods; contribute to product development in area of expertise and identify new product opportunities
  • Engage on pursuits, bids, and up-sell opportunities, developing impactful content and demonstrating commercial awareness

Your profile

  • Proven experience in finance transformation (at least 10 years) with strong end-to-end knowledge of finance processes (Receivables, Credit to Cash, Order to Cash) and a good understanding of GBS/SSC/BPO operating models
  • Experience in process design and documentation preparation
  • Experience in process mapping in Visio, Business Optix, Signavio, Aris (or similar) with BPMN notation awareness
  • Continuous Improvement, client value and innovation mindset with proven benefits delivered
  • Ability to articulate the business case for change and implementation of recommended solutions
  • Experience in leading roles on project work with frequent client interactions (workshops, presentations, trainings)
  • Experience in facilitating workshops and meetings
  • Knowledge and experience in at least one ERP: S4H/ SAP ECC or Oracle
  • Strong understanding and/or implementation experience of Receivables, Credit to Cash, Order to Cash technologies (e.g., Blackline, HighRadius, Sarala SaaS, RPA, Intelligent Automation)
  • Fluent spoken and written English

Nice to have

  • Transition and other project work experience with exposure to the client
  • Hands-on experience with S4H environment and S4H implementation programs
  • Process and technology maturity assessment experience
  • Project management certification
  • Relevant domain certifications (e.g., CIMA, CPA, ACCA, CIPS, CPSM, CSCP)
