The Warsaw nuclear team was established almost 10 years ago to work at first on export projects (UK, France) and more recently on the Polish NPPs and on SMR projects.

About the Role

Key Role:

The Nuclear Project Manager participates in the development of the Nuclear Service Line on the Polish market.

• Supporting business development of our Nuclear Service Line
• Leading the preparation of commercial offers for nuclear projects
• Managing projects related the nuclear energy

The Nuclear Project Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of nuclear projects and offers produced in a Polish or international context and involving multiple entities of the group.

The Nuclear Project Manager is managing the nuclear projects teams based in Poland.

Role in Business Development

• Contribute to the business development through meetings with potential clients, participation in fairs & conferences
• Identify business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Proactively discuss with potential nuclear clients to understand their technical needs and propose services

Role in commercial offers preparation

• Lead the preparation of commercial offers for the Polish and international nuclear market
• Identify and address the specific needs of the client in cooperation with the business development team and nuclear management
• Identify the technical competencies required for the offer and engage the stakeholders to get the needed resources
• Evaluate and control the budget and the schedule required to realize the projects according to the tender specifications
• Lead and coordinate the proposals, including technical teams, the tender unit, the financial and legal departments both Polish Egis entities and abroad
• Ensure the adequate level of nuclear safety requirements are implemented in the offer
• Take ownership and ensure the global coherence of the offer, both in technical and financial aspects

Role in managing and delivering the projects

• Ensure the initiation phase of the project
  • Develop project management plan and quality plan
  • Mobilize the project team
  • Prepare the internal and external agreements to deliver the project
  • Set all the performance tasks required by the Performance Management System
• Execute and monitor the project in accordance with the project management system
  • Ensure the project delivery in respectof the quality, cost and schedule performance
  • Manage the risks of the project
  • Manage the delivery teams
  • Manage the nuclear safety requirements and implement a quality assurance and nuclear safety behavior within the teams
  • Manage the changes and evolutions
  • Ensure the right level of financial indicators (Turnover, Profitability & cash flow)
  • Manage contractual relationships with the clients
• Close the project
  • Close the contract from the technical, legal and financial aspects
  • Ensure the lesson learnt is captured and will benefit to the next offers and project for the Nuclear Service Line

Nuclear SL policy implementation

• Compliance: Oversight adherence to applicable nuclear regulations and standards, overseeing regulatory compliance in all nuclear engineering activities.
• Nuclear Safety Culture: Promote and sustain a robust nuclear safety culture within the engineering team
• Contribute to knowledge capitalization: Collect and share the lessons-learnt from preparing offers and projects

What do we need from you

• Master degree in Engineering
• English language required
• 3 years experience in the nuclear energy
