We are looking for a highly experienced Non-Functional Testing Expert to join a complex Data-focused program within a large-scale enterprise environment.

The role is positioned within a Solution Train (SAFe setup) and focuses on driving the Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) and Non-Functional Testing (NFT) agenda across component, system, and end-to-end levels.

You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to define, implement, and validate NFRs for advanced data solutions, ensuring performance, reliability, security, and scalability of critical systems.

Work model: Hybrid – 2 days per week from the office

Non-Functional Testing Expert



Your responsibilities

  • Act as a driver and subject-matter expert for Non-Functional Requirements and Non-Functional Testing in the Data area
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear, testable Non-Functional Requirements
  • Define, develop, and implement NFT strategies, test plans, and reports
  • Perform performance simulations and analysis on Batch, API, and GUI levels
  • Work with complex solutions from component level to end-to-end architectures
  • Collaborate closely with Architects, Product Owners, Engineers, and Leadership to refine and enforce NFRs
  • Execute and analyze performance, reliability, security, and accessibility tests
  • Support CI/CD pipelines with continuous performance testing
  • Hand over NFRs and NFT assets to responsible teams and ensure long-term ownership
  • Facilitate discussions, workshops, and alignment sessions related to non-functional quality
  • Operate effectively within an Agile / SAFe environment

Our requirements

  • Deep, hands-on expertise in Non-Functional Requirements definition and Non-Functional Testing in the Data domain
  • Proven experience with performance, reliability, security, and accessibility testing
  • Strong ability to drive NFR/NFT topics independently across teams and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills (engineering & management level, English required)
  • Strong test automation skills as a complementary competency
  • Development background, preferably extending beyond pure QA responsibilities
  • Solid understanding of system architecture and distributed systems
  • Experience working in Agile / SAFe frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with LoadRunner, JMeter, Splunk
  • CI/CD performance testing experience (Jenkins)
  • Good working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, AppDynamics
  • Ability to model and simulate complex user behavior patterns
  • Strong analytical mindset and natural problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Previous experience working in banking or financial services
  • Knowledge of Big Data ecosystems (Hadoop, Cloudera, MapR, streaming technologies)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Marketing Automation
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Knowledge of Snowflake
