The Travel Distribution, Value Added Services organization provides expert consulting and bespoke development services to maximize the success of our clients distribution customers when they use customers products. The transversal department Tools, Activation & Data is focused on supporting their VAS colleagues (consultants and bespoke developers) by delivering services and solutions to ensure they are equipped to efficiently fulfill their consultancy missions.

In this context, the Tooling, Development, & Innovation team objective is to improve delivery efficiency and facilitate consultancy missions, through the conception and development of new pieces of technologies (proof of concepts, tools, enablers, dashboard). TDI team has five members in three locations WAW, GDN and BOG. TDI solutions and tools cover a large technical stack as Python, Java, Node.js, .Net, Vue.js, Angular, SQL and No-SQL DB, QLIK apps, etc. in Linux and Windows environments.

We are looking for an experienced Node.js Angular developer to be responsible for TDI Node.js and Angular projects using platforms and technologies but not limited to containerization, virtualization, Kubernetes, and SAS architecture. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills as well as solid soft skills to communicate, negotiate and plan the requirements and needs from our VAS colleagues.

Your responsibilities

1. Be responsible for TDI applications that use the above-mentioned technologies.
2. Collect, size and plan all the requests for assigned applications and projects.
3. Design and code new or upgrades of software features/solutions.
4. Contribute to code quality improvements.
5. Support, maintain and advocate for the correct usage of our tools.
6. Ensure development tasks are done respecting the client’s security guidelines.
7. Build, store and maintain code documentation (Architecture, deployment, troubleshooting, How To).
8. Share and transfer knowledge to other members of the team.
9. Collaborate and support other TDI tools.

Our requirements

1. At least 3-year professional Node.js – Angular 6+ software development experience.
2. Advanced Programming knowledge (mandatory).
3. Confirmed experience in building Node.js – Angular 6+ full stack apps: backend (Node.js), Frontend tech (Angular 6+).
4. Technical skills in another language are a plus. (.Net, Java, Python).
5. Experience consuming and implementing APIs based on technologies and structures like REST/JSON and SOAP/XML.
6. Experience working with relational or non-relational database.
7. Cloud fundamentals knowledge – Docker, Podman, Kubernetes.
8. Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
9. Proficiency in English - written & spoken (mandatory).
10. Good collaboration mindset and willingness to learn.
11. Skills in Linux, Windows environments.
12. Basic networking knowledge.
