We are seeking a Node.js Developer with a primary focus on building high-scale, high-volume transaction systems. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive expertise in backend technologies, particularly in creating scalable REST APIs, designing and implementing complex database architectures, and embracing microservices to deliver reliable and testable solutions. The candidate must exhibit a meticulous approach to software engineering and possess excellent communication skills. Experience with Web 3.0, fintech applications, or systems handling a high volume of transactions is a significant plus.
Our requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of professional hands-on experience in the development of software systems, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Node.js
- Excellent skills and extensive experience in PostgreSQL, particularly in building and optimizing high-scale, high-volume transaction systems
- Proficiency in backend tech stack and languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL, Postgres, Docker and related tools
- Experience working with cloud providers (preferably AWS)
- Good knowledge of modern DevOps approach and related tools
- Experience in building and monitoring high-traffic apps
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent knowledge of testing best practices and the ability to write tests based on requirements from the product team
- Excellent verbal communication skills, fluency in English is a must.

- Computer science degree or equivalent experience

- Experience working with Web 3.0 products, fintech applications, or systems handling a high volume of transactions.
- Knowledge about security best practices
- Experience working with LaunchDarkly, Datadog or other tools related to DevOps and observability
- Product-oriented – able to take a deep dive into the business domain, and partner with product experts to suggest improvements, and pragmatic solutions
