The role of a Network Security Engineer is responsible for the Operational Support aspects of the production network Security environment which includes all aspects of the corporate Firewalls, Proxies and Intrusion Protection & Detection and DDOS capabilities.

Your responsibilities
- Responsible for the development and continued updated of all global network security design standards
- Ensure compliance with internal audit, IT Risk and Security and regulatory requirements.
- Technical networking ability to design Network Security environments, Tools, etc.
- Experience with multiple Firewall and Proxy platforms such as Zscaler, Cisco, Azure, NSX-T, Fortinet and Checkpoint
- Vendor management for production hardware lifecycle
- Availability tracking and technical elimination of project incidents / challenges
- Work with Business and Data Center Transformation program teams for information gathering and scheduling
- Ability to shift workload / priorities as required by transformation program
- Ability to translate port / protocol traffic flows to documented security policy / risk
Our requirements
- 4-7 years of experience
- Proven capabilities in developing/maintaining network security architecture and strategy in global enterprises
- High-level knowledge of financial Management and Budget Control
- In-depth understanding of Network Security technologies (FW, IDS/IPS, DLP, WAF, SASE/SSE…) and associated principal vendors (Cisco, Citrix, F5, Fortinet, VMware….)
- Broad range of understanding of ITIL, ITSM and industry best practices
- Ability to grasp complex technical concepts rapidly and to rate their potential against real business requirements
- Understanding of cloud providers and service offerings
- Dealing with Ambiguity
- Strong Communication Skills
- Technical competencies around Data Routing & Switching
- Tooling in an enterprise network
- Operational/cost-effective mindset
