The ideal candidate for the job will possess skills in network/application firewalls, IPSs, VPN, and proxy solutions. The candidate will be able to analyze security risks and issues, incorporate infrastructure and network requirements, develop appropriate architectures and patterns, and guide the different teams on design, implementation, and policy development.
Your Responsibilities:
- Analyze network diagrams and traffic patterns to understand current design.
- Establish and document global architecture standards for network security.
- Oversee projects implementing security controls.
- Consult with different business teams and translate the requirements into technical documents.
- Act as a single point of contact for all technical actions in network security.
- Drive architectural/technical discussions and projects around network security.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring.
- Define and verify log fields for different use-cases defined by the Cyber Security team.
- Strong understanding of network segmentation concepts, the Zero Trust security model, and related security controls.
- Extensive experience with NextGen firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet) and their different feature sets.
- Experience with Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).
- Extensive experience with Internet proxy solutions (cloud-based and on-premise).
- Knowledgeable about routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF.
- Working knowledge of switches, ACLs, VRFs, and VDCs.
- Integration experience with CMDB, fault monitoring systems, orchestration systems, etc.
- Deep understanding of Data Center and campus Network Architectures, industry standards, and architectural principles.
- Expertise in securing data in motion (site-to-site VPN, client-to-site VPN, IPSec, web VPN, tunneling).
- Exposure to large-scale network security transformation programs.
Requirements:
- Ability to review existing network architectures and designs under security aspects.
- Expertise in identifying gaps and working with stakeholders (vendor and business entity) to enable them to deliver network architectures.
- Ensure the integrity of Network and Security Architecture in scope.
- Perform Vendor Management / Stakeholder Management.
- Ability to trace requirements to end-state solutions.
- Manage technical programs to ensure that end-to-end solutions are delivered.
- Prepare, review, and approve HLD and LLD.
