As a Global Deployment Services Engineer, you will be a vital member of HCLTech’s technical engineering team, responsible for the hands-on execution and support of global network deployments. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless installation, configuration, and maintenance of complex networking environments, contributing directly to the reliability and scalability of our clients worldwide infrastructures. responsibilities :
Install, configure, migrate, and maintain routing, switching, WLAN, IPT, security, and contact center solutions across global data centers.
Provide hands-on technical oversight for multi-vendor systems, including Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Infoblox, Riverbed, Bluecoat, Ion, and F5.
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, performing root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.
Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain maximum uptime for enterprise environments.
Mentor and train team members, contributing to skill development and knowledge sharing.
Handle tickets and service requests efficiently, ensuring high-quality customer support to diverse user communities.
Define and enforce operational processes, conducting regular audits and testing as required.
Monitor SLA compliance and report on team performance metrics.
Build, maintain, and improve test environments to facilitate robust deployments and upgrades.
Identify skill gaps within the team and plan for ongoing training and knowledge updates.
Suggest technology enhancements and design improvements to optimize network performance.
Maintain exceptional customer and employee satisfaction through proactive problem-solving and communication.
Manage critical incidents and problem tickets with innovative, out-of-the-box thinking.

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in managing and maintaining medium/large enterprise network environments.
Advanced proficiency in installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of both wired and wireless data networks.
Experience with Cisco routers, switches, Meraki (MS100, MS200, MS300, MS400, MX100, MX84, MX250, MX450, WLC/Access points), and Aruba wireless solutions.
Strong knowledge of IPAM (Infoblox), WAN optimizers (Riverbed), packet shapers (Bluecoat), terminal servers (Ion systems), and load balancers (F5).
Deep understanding of DNS, DHCP, IP addressing schema, VLSM, and related technologies.
Expertise in layer 2 technologies such as VLAN trunks, VTP, EtherChannel, STP, RSTP, and MST.
Experience with OS upgrades on multi-vendor devices.
Excellent troubleshooting skills for NOC environments, including incident and problem management.
Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
Proven customer handling skills.
Ability to perform under high-pressure situations.
