Network Operations Engineer (German)
YOUR TASKS
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise-level network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, routers, switches).
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for network outages and performance issues.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement network solutions.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership during critical operations.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
- Participate in on‑call rotation and provide after‑hours support as needed.
YOUR PROFILE
- Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure with a focus on Cisco technologies.
- Manage and optimize Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) environments.
- Deploy and support Cisco Catalyst switches.
- Implement and manage Fortinet firewalls and security appliances.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support business and IT initiatives.
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices.
- Participate in on‑call rotation and provide support during network incidents or changes.
