Network Operations Center Specialist (m/f) – Bosch
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Network Operations Center (NOC) Specialist to join our team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, respond to alerts, and implement solutions that enhance our network operations. Responsibilities
- Monitor & Troubleshoot: Process and consult monitoring system alarms with adherence to process/KPIs/SLAs. Support resolution of user or system generated incident tickets, collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve various issues. Investigate alerts (SNMP, Syslog, NetFlow), classify impact, and execute Tier-1/2 remediation playbooks within SLA.
- Incident & Problem Management: Own and support P1/P2 bridges, coordinate with global teams, and drive issues to RCA using ITIL best practices. Log detailed tickets, craft post-mortems, and recommend permanent fixes or automation. Work with Service Providers, ensuring they meet their contractual commitments and collaborate on Continuous Improvement.
- Change & Configuration: Review and implement scheduled changes (IOS XE, ArubaOS, AOS-CX). Implement user requests for configuration changes related to ACLs/FWs/PBRs. Prepare necessary activities and create change requests, presenting activities in various Change Advisory Boards when required.
- Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive records of issues, resolutions, processes, and best practices. Mentor peers across time zones and champion best-practice security.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong basic network knowledge (CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge level)
- Experience in LAN/WLAN/WAN/MAN technologies in Cisco and Aruba vendor space
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience in networking
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users (at least English B2)
- Good team player and able to collaborate at all levels
- Ability to identify problems, take ownership, and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal supervision
- Experience working to ITIL/Agile Standards/Framework
Nice to Have
- Experience in Cisco SDA technology (SD-WAN, ACI)
- Experience in monitoring tools like Zabbix and Grafana
- Relevant certifications Cisco and Aruba
