If you are interested in comprehensive monitoring of the network and infrastructure, enhancing consumer visibility, and supporting proactive issue resolution through real-time data collection, this role is for you.

The position involves maintaining the monitoring solution within a globally distributed framework, collaborating with various internal and external teams to optimize and automate the current setup while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and process optimization.

Your Role

1. Implement and maintain monitoring solutions in a distributed environment (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Checkmk, Nagios, etc.)
2. Troubleshoot issues related to monitoring/service check configurations
3. Manage and optimize IT network domains, including L2, L3, Firewalls, VPNs, Wi-Fi, Routing Protocols, TCP, UDP, etc.
4. Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.
5. Collaborate with teams to enhance Consumer Experience (CX)
6. Utilize AIOps platforms (Moogsoft, BigPanda, ServiceNow) and cloud platforms (MS Azure, AWS, GCP) for monitoring and management
7. Understand and address consumer needs effectively
8. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders

Your Skills

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field; Masters degree preferred
2. Over 5 years of professional experience in IT
3. At least 2 years of experience with technical monitoring solutions
4. Proficiency in deploying and managing monitoring systems (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Checkmk, Nagios, etc.)
5. Strong scripting skills – PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.
6. Basic working knowledge of AIOps platforms (Moogsoft, BigPanda, ServiceNow) and cloud platforms (MS Azure, AWS, GCP)
7. Excellent communication skills
8. Experience with leading monitoring, data analysis, and visualization tools
9. Preferred certifications: CCNA, CompTIA Network+
10. Additional certifications in monitoring tools are advantageous
11. ITIL and Lean certifications are a plus
