Network Integration Engineer is responsible for technical implementation of IP routing projects that are executed by the Network Services Delivery Centre (NSDC). The role includes design validation testing, network acceptance testing, providing technical procedures, configuration templates, and node-specific configurations, acting as a subject matter expert.

Your responsibilities

  1. Setup LAB environment and execute design validation tests, FAT, SAT, TAT, RG, NRG.
  2. Work with ION Network design to build test plans and strategy, MOPs, and any kind of technical documentation as defined by project SoW.
  3. Produce configuration templates and node-specific configuration covering basic setup, routing, MPLS, security, redundancy, QoS, accounting, and services.
  4. Implementation/Integration of IP/MPLS equipment and solutions as defined by SoW, design, and MOPs.
  5. Troubleshoot network/SW/HW issues encountered during network integration activity.
  6. Work closely with IP technical support teams (TAC, R&D, Design).
  7. Work with NSDC Front Door team to review effort estimations, scope of works, and technical risks associated with the delivery of IP routing projects.
  8. Responsible for improvement initiatives, issues handling, and technical knowledge sharing.
  9. Work closely with IPR project management community to address technical matters.
  10. Liaise with product units on issues found and product roadmaps.
  11. Attend important project technical activities (PoC, FOA, and rollout kickoff).
  12. Run NSDC internal technical calls.
  13. Produce customer project-related technical process documentation and presentations.

Our requirements

  1. Minimum of 3 years of telecom experience in the IP/MPLS domain.
  2. Advanced practical knowledge of IP technical solutions - IPv4, IPv6, routing and switching, IP/MPLS, services.
  3. Fluency in Russian and English.

Nice to have:

  1. L2 VPN, L3 VPN, VLL – epipe, apipe, cpipe, QoS, multicast, redundancy.
  2. Hands-on experience in configuring routers/switches with Command Line Interface, Nokia, Cisco, Juniper.
  3. Nokia NRS2 certification would be a plus.
  4. Nokia product/configuration knowledge (7750, 7210, 7705, 7450, 7950).
  5. Cisco, Juniper network specialist certification will be a plus (CCIP/CCIE, JNCIS-SP/JNCIP-SP).
  6. Good practical knowledge of 5620 SAM (NE integration, SW upload & upgrade, backups), alarm monitoring, and interpretation.
  7. Ability to work independently and in a team.
  8. Ability to work in front of customers representing NSDC.
