Were looking for a Network Engineer to join our international IT Operations team. The team is spread across Northern Europe and Poland. The role will report into the Senior Manager of IT operations based in Solna.

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining D&Bs network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role provides network infrastructure support to IT management and users.

Youll operate in a hybrid model (3 days/week) out of our Warsaw office (Plac Eurpejski 2).

Responsibilities:
  • Building and maintaining the day-to-day operations of the D&B network environment.
  • Develop and collaborate on technical solutions for new products that use our network, security infrastructure, and cloud environments.
  • Taking care of the incidents connected to the D&B network Infrastructure (firewall, internet, switches, routers, VPN, LAN, and Wi-Fi, etc.).
  • Analyze key metrics to assess overall effectiveness of LAN and WAN network performance, capacity, and associated monitoring.
  • Assist in network implementations, configuration and routing changes, and equipment upgrades.
  • Perform root cause analysis and problem resolutions, provide recommendations, build consensus, and execute solutions.
  • Provide support to peers within the local and off-shore teams.
  • Resolve advanced support issues and provide Level - 2/3 support on network incident bridges.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures.
Essential skills and certifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience with network engineering, support, or similar technical experience, including but not limited to IPsec, TCP/IP, Routing, DNS, Firewalls.
  • Experience with Cloud Servers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) & Google Cloud (GCP/GCVE).
  • Experience with threat prevention (for example WAF, IDS/IPS).
  • Experience in a large firewall environment e.g. Palo Alto (and/or Checkpoint).
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Preferably network-related certification in Palo Alto or firewall-related areas.
  • Able to work within a collaborative team environment containing local and remote team members.
  • Open to flexible working hours (evening work and service weekend work).
