The Network Engineer is responsible for providing the highest standards of service, conference support and installation work, while establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all our customers. This role will require you to be responsible for your region and occasional travel out of country.
responsibilities :
Attend sites to resolve customer issues.
Take ownership of escalations until resolved.
Provide remote troubleshooting and break fixes to existing customer sites.
Provide remote technical support to contractors.
Take ownership of properties assigned to your region.
Assist with installation projects on customer sites.
Assist with pre-installation projects, including site surveys.
Set up, support, and break down managed conferences.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and to agreed processes.
Provide a high level of customer care, and ensure whenever possible, customer issues are resolved within SLAs.
Attend training courses and develop skillset through online training.
Participate in the on-call rotation.
Complete all paperwork and systems accurately and on time.
Liaise with senior engineers, management, third parties and customers.
Generate revenue through application of the Fixed Fee Service Module system where contractually entitled.
requirements-expected :
Fluent English (Verbal and written).
Knowledge of Wireless networks (Ruckus, Meru & HP).
Must be willing to travel.
Full driving license with vehicle.
CCNA, HP Master ASE (Wireless Networks) or equivalent.
Conference and break fix work may involve some unsocial working hours, including early morning travel, weekends and out of hours support.
Linux knowledge.
IT Literate.
Good TV / Satellite / Coax Network Experience.
Additional language skills are an asset.
Excellent attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be able to work on own initiative.
