This is a strategic, long-term project (under NDA) focused on migrating and modernizing the global F5 load balancer estate to a new platform and building automation for operational processes. The role combines software engineering and networking expertise, offering opportunities to work with cutting-edge technologies, automation, and cloud solutions in a highly collaborative, global environment.
You will work closely with network engineers and software developers, contributing to infrastructure migration, automation development, and continuous improvement initiatives. The team operates in an Agile/Scrum framework and values knowledge sharing, trust, and collaboration.
responsibilities :
Design and implement infrastructure and service migrations from the old to the new platform.
Build automation solutions for the new platform and modify existing code for compatibility.
Create deployment pipelines using approved technologies and adhere to API/configuration standards.
Collaborate with service owners to schedule migration activities and follow strict change control processes.
Support operational processes for F5 load balancers and ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
Participate in knowledge sharing and work closely with a distributed global team

requirements-expected :
Strong knowledge of Python and API development (including code testing and review).
Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Bash, and Jenkins/CICD pipelines.
Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault.
Solid understanding of BGP, Routing, TCP/IP, certificates/PKI.
Experience with F5 load balancers and virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM).
Fluent English (C1), excellent communication skills.
Team player with experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Ability to work in a global, distributed team and manage multiple priorities.
