For our customer, leader in consulting, technology services and digital transformation we are looking for a skilled Network Engineer who will work alongside experienced technicians to roll out complex network projects and support daily operational tasks. The person in this role will focus on Data Center environments, where ensuring high availability and security will be top priorities.
The individual will work on projects revolving around data center technologies and will have the opportunity to operate within a multi-vendor environment, handling a wide range of technologies such as data center switching, routing, firewall management, firewall automation, load balancing, VPN setup and maintenance, and more.
Project information:
Location: Katowice or Kraków or Lublin or Opole or Wrocław (one from those locations to choose; hybrid model of work - once a week from the office)
Type of employment: employment contract
Working hours: Monday to Friday, between 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (8 hours), plus on-call support.
Project language: French and English
responsibilities :
Assisting in project preparation, including clarifying project scope, developing project plans, and estimating efforts.
Leading the implementation of network components within the projects.
Ensuring compliance with established processes and procedures.
Providing comprehensive and clear documentation.
Diagnosing and resolving complex network infrastructure issues, with a primary focus on data center environments.
Administering and maintaining the existing network infrastructure.
requirements-expected :
Proven experience with networks and security technologies, including practical knowledge of routing, switching, and firewalling.
Strong enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
Experience with network security technologies, including firewall management, IPSec, remote VPN access, SSL, and NAC solutions (focus on Cisco ISE).
A solid understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 high availability protocols and standards, including HSRP, FW/LB clustering, and Nexus VPC.
Extensive knowledge of wireless technologies (primarily Cisco-based).
Understanding of DNS/DHCP technologies.
Practical experience with various operating systems (MS Windows, Unix/Linux).
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines when working without supervision.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Excellent command of the French language (at least B2 level) and good command of English (at least B1 level).
