We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator – Firewalls to manage and maintain the organizations network security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of firewall technologies and network security principles. responsibilities :
Configure, deploy, and maintain firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point) to protect the network infrastructure.
Monitor network traffic and firewall logs to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
Implement and manage firewall policies and rules to ensure optimal security while maintaining network performance.
Perform regular firewall audits to ensure compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and security issues related to firewalls.
Collaborate with IT and security teams to design and implement secure network solutions.
Manage and maintain VPN configurations and secure remote access solutions.
Stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in network security.
Document firewall configurations, changes, and incident responses.
requirements-expected :
3+ years of experience in network administration with a focus on firewall management.
Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, or Check Point.
Strong understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF).
Experience with VPN technologies, including site-to-site and remote access VPNs.
Knowledge of network security best practices, including access control, intrusion detection, and prevention systems.
Hands-on experience with logging and monitoring tools for network security, such as Syslog, Splunk, or SolarWinds.
Familiarity with NAT, ACLs, and firewall rule optimization.
