Overview

We are seeking a skilled [dotNET Engineering Lead to join a project for one of our key Clients.

As an Engineering Lead, youll supervise 3–7 direct reports, handling their professional development while continuing your hands-on work as a Software Engineer. You will lead, mentor, and support your team to achieve project and organizational goals, providing technical direction, reviewing code or technical work, and ensuring high engineering standards.

The position requires a willingness to work on a standard contract of employment (UoP) and a willingness to visit the EPAM office in Łódź 1 day per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of [dotNET Engineers
• Oversee the software development lifecycle of [dotNET applications
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop, and implement software solutions
• Make architectural decisions and ensure scalable, robust software design
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Stay up-to-date with latest industry trends and technologies
• Ensure project timelines and milestones are met

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in [dotNET development of web applications
• Proven track record of leading and managing development teams
• Experience with Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Experience with microservice architecture
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English

Nice to have

• Experience in frontend technologies such as Angular or React
