The Adelante team provide payment and income management solutions used by a variety of large private- and public-sector clients. As we continue to develop our products and serve our custmers, we require a Senior .NET Developer to work as part of our development team to assist with delivering new product features and capability. 

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, Developers, DevOps and QA Automation Engineers to contribute to both the development and delivery of new product features, and the maintenance/improvement of existing/legacy features using combinations of the following technologies : .NET, C#, React, .NET MAUI, ASP.NET WebForms, MS SQL-Server, VB.NET, Azure DevOps, AWS, Docker
• Analyse business requirements, internal designs and non-functional requirements and estimate user stories collaboratively with the team.
• Follow industry best practices, coding guidelines and secure development practices, and ensure other members of the team do likewise.
• Understand and maintaining awareness of technology, software design and development methodology trends and contribute to strategy through the suggestions of suitable solutions to meet business / product needs.
• Follow lean/agile principles and help to continually improve processes and practices.

Desirable attributes and experience:

• Professional level (3+ years experience) as a Developer within a modern software environment
• Strong C# and SQL-Server experience
• Experience in improving, refactoring and rewriting code
• Understanding of design patterns
• Experience of running cloud applications within AWS is advantageous.
• Experience of secure coding practices, OWASP Top 10, etc

Desired skills and experience:

• Experience with some/all of VB.NET, React, .NET MAUI
• Azure DevOps
• Previous experience with mobile application development.
