The client has developed and manages (24/7) the Azure-based platform (Azure infrastructure and integration layer) and application (.NET backend and two React frontends: Sage and MyGSB) that facilitates the trading and injection and withdrawal of natural gas in the storage.
responsibilities :
Sage is clients commercial dispatch and optimization system. In short, SAGE is clients advanced engine that turns commercial storage bookings into optimized, executable operations at Bergermeer. Its core functions are:
Dispatching: Manages the precise timing of gas injections and withdrawals.
Optimization: Calculates optimal schedules for capacity use, balancing technical limits, market demand, and weather forecasts.
Messaging: Automates communications with grid operators, counterparties, and internal teams.
Acts as the tech backbone linking bookings via myGSB, nominations, and field execution.
Integrates occupancy data, reservoir constraints, and market feeds (such as TTF prices) to optimize when to inject or withdraw, sending dispatch schedules directly to control systems via automated messages.
MyGSB is clients proprietary, user-friendly portal where customers manage trading logistics—booking storage slots, setting up injections/withdrawals, and tracking volumes. It provides real-time insights into bookings, nominations, confirmations, and facility capacity.
requirements-expected :
Strong full-stack cloud-native software developer with solid experience in
Microservices Architecture and Event Sourcing architecture. Strong understanding of asynchronous processing, dependency injection, and Entity Framework.
