MYP / IBDP Specialist Teacher (various specialisations)

Purpose of Role

The American School of Wrocław is seeking dynamic, passionate, and qualified teachers to join our international faculty. We are looking for experienced educators who are committed to high-quality teaching and learning within the MYP and IBDP frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-driven lessons aligned with MYP / IBDP standards.
  • Use formative and summative assessment to inform teaching and track progress.
  • Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to school development and participate in professional learning.
  • Lead or support at least one after-school activity or club.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Formal teaching qualifications (Bachelor’s degree or higher, QTS or equivalent)
  • Minimum C2 level of English proficiency
  • Proven teaching experience (preferably in international or bilingual settings)
  • Strong commitment to student-centered and inquiry-based learning
  • High personal integrity and professionalism
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Collaborative mindset and flexibility
  • Passion for international education and holistic student development
