For our client, an American consulting company, supporting international banking clients, we are looking for an experienced Murex Functional Consultant – Market Risk to join their growing team.

What you will do 
In this role, you will work closely with Market Risk users, risk management teams, and IT stakeholders, contributing to the development, monitoring, and continuous improvement of VaR calculation circuits within Murex 3x environments.
Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end (E2E) management of the VaR calculation circuit, including Full Revaluation and Taylor methods
• Analysis of data completeness, data integrity, and consistency of Market Risk figures
• Monitoring, validation, and review of calculated Market Risk metrics
• Active use of the Murex 3x platform from a functional perspective
• Execution of E2E integration and functional tests
• Analysis, tracking, and reporting of ongoing projects and initiatives
• Participation in Market Risk projects and proposing process and circuit improvements
• Handling requests, inquiries, and support activities for Market Risk users
• Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in an international environment

What you will need to succeed in this role
Required Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience working with financial products in wholesale banking and/or regulated financial environments
• Solid understanding of Market Risk concepts and metrics
• Hands-on experience with Murex 3 / Murex 3x
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science
• Very good command of English (minimum B2 / upper-intermediate level) due to daily international communication

Nice to Have

• Postgraduate studies in Finance, Financial Markets, or Capital Markets
• Advanced or upper-intermediate Excel skills
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, or Big Data environments
• Previous experience in consulting or international projects
