We are currently seeking, on behalf of one of our clients, a skilled Modern Workplace Engineer to join their team. This role involves managing and configuring Microsoft 365 services, Entra ID, and Azure environments to ensure secure, efficient, and integrated solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, identity management, and task automation, and will work in a hybrid model with occasional on-site visits in Germany.
responsibilities :
Design and Implement Azure solutions that meet business needs
Configure and Manage Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune) for seamless integration with Entra ID
Manage and Configure policies, groups, and users in both Entra ID and local Active Directory
Develop and Enforce security policies within Azure, including Conditional Access and Identity Protection
Oversee Migration of identity and access management systems to Entra ID
Troubleshoot and Support issues related to Azure and Entra ID
Automate Tasks in Azure using PowerShell and Azure Power Platform
Administer the Azure tenant and handle related service administration tasks
requirements-expected :
Proficiency in:
a) Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune)
b) Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and Active Directory management
c) Azure Infrastructure, especially Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
Strong understanding of:
a) Identity and Access Management (IAM) in Entra ID
b) Security principles and compliance within cloud environments
Experience with:
a) PowerShell and Azure Power Platform for task automation
b) Migration of identity and access systems to Entra ID
Problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively
Ability to design and implement Azure-based solutions that align with business requirements
