Commerce DevOps Hub is being established. The newly created organization, being an integral part of the Global Digital & Technology Function, is tasked with maintaining, but most importantly developing (functionally and technologically) IT solutions supporting the Commerce area at Heineken. Commerce DevOps Hub is located in Kraków and will include highly qualified IT professionals with direct contribution to both the technological development of the Heineken Commerce and the Hub itself.

As a Product Architect within the MarTech team, you will be responsible for guiding the development of both branded and non-branded applications. Your role involves closely collaborating with Product Owners, Project Managers, and Development Teams to deeply understand business needs and translate them into actionable solution architecture specifications that align with overall engineering standards and strategic roadmaps. You will drive excellence in engineering practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions throughout the software development lifecycle, particularly within the Commerce IT landscape and B2C mobile applications in the Heineken portfolio. Additionally, you will foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless integration of solutions across the technology landscape, while continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and improve architecture and engineering processes.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Application Stability and Performance: Ensure the stability and performance of Heineken’s existing applications, including Desperados Dance Club, ChinChin (UK), Hei! (BR), and others.
• Team Support: Provide proactive support to our Product and Commerce (Marketing) teams by addressing technical queries, highlighting potential risks, and proposing improvements across different phases of the development cycle. Liaise closely with inter-compnay partners to ensure alignment and effective problem-solving.
• Tech Stack Management: Understand, define, and extend the “to-be” tech stack. Leverage existing technologies from other stacks, repurpose deployed solutions, and introduce new technologies as needed. Ensure all decisions are made with a proactive, ownership-driven approach.
• Solution Development: Create Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and define solutions for key features. Take responsibility for handing over these solutions to developers, providing clear guidance, and addressing their concerns. Ensure diligence in documentation and maintain high-quality standards.
• Enterprise Architecture Compliance: Take the initiative to shape and refine the tech stack, making informed decisions that drive innovation and efficiency. Provide expert advice on enterprise architecture to ensure that performance, security, privacy, and automation are not just met but exceeded.
• Quality Coordination: Coordinate with development teams to maintain the highest quality standards for the product. Ensure that all Heineken standards are rigorously applied, taking ownership of the outcome and not deferring responsibility to others. This includes working with developers and QA to align on test plans and quality assurance.
• Security Implementation: Ensure that security best practices are fully implemented to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data. Work with Pen Test vendors and our internal Security team to proactively address security concerns.
• Take Ownership: Proactively take ownership of all technical responsibilities, ensuring issues are addressed directly and not deferred to others. Collaborate closely with our in-house development team (Tiger Tribe), Pen Test vendors, and other technical partners to resolve challenges and drive successful outcomes.
• Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Create comprehensive documentation and processes to ensure ongoing support and facilitate easy transfer of knowledge. Take full responsibility for ensuring that these resources are thorough and accessible.

You are a good candidate if you have:

• 5+ years of working experience in a similar position in companies with a strong digital presence.
• Good understanding of mobile application development & ongoing support, software design principles.
• Understanding of mobile application architecture.
• Great communication skills. You should be able to guide / mentor other project team members.
• Stakeholder management experience and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Pragmatic, and collaborative team player, as well as good at taking ownership.
• Android/iOS app development experience (good to have)
