The Middleware Architect is responsible for shaping and evolving the Middleware architecture to align with organizational goals, driving the development of scalable and secure integration solutions that enable agility and operational efficiency. By setting design standards, championing API management and automation practices, and mentoring technical teams, the Middleware Architect plays a pivotal role in accelerating digital transformation and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the integration landscape.
This position reports to the Senior Middleware Architect and is part of the MW Architecture Team located in Krakow (Poland) and will be an on-site role.
responsibilities :
Design and evolve a scalable and secure Middleware architecture aligned with enterprise standards and business goals
Lead the implementation of integration solutions using Boomi, focusing on API Management, B2B, and process automation
Develop and maintain reusable frameworks, architecture documentation, and technical standards in collaboration with architecture and development teams
Act as a subject matter expert on the Architecture Review Board, reviewing solution designs and ensuring adherence to architectural principles
Support platform lifecycle management by working with internal teams and vendors to ensure Middleware platforms remain current and secure
requirements-expected :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience
6+ years of experience in Middleware architecture, integration platforms, or enterprise system design
Hands-on expertise in Boomi, including Integration, API Management, and B2B/EDI
Strong track record in developing integration solutions using SQL, Java, JSON, XML, EDI, AS2, SOAP/REST APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), including CI/CD pipeline implementation
Demonstrated ability to resolve complex technical problems under pressure through collaboration with cross-functional teams and clear, audience-appropriate communication
