What we do
Middle Office Trade Processing processes Capital Markets transactions: placing orders, confirming and settling trades, and processing voluntary corporate actions. Our scope covers equities, bonds, FX, money markets, and derivatives. We cooperate with brokers, custodian banks, and transfer agents worldwide across global markets (North & Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia).
Responsibilities
- Provide operational support to traders with securities, cash, and derivatives transactions
- Prepare daily and weekly/monthly reports
- Cooperate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as brokers, custodians, and accounting teams
- Perform control functions such as daily trade monitoring, reconciliations across systems, and failed trade management
- Assist the team manager/supervisor in all duties as required
- Reply to complex client queries and analyze any discrepancies
- Review existing processes and applications, identify improvement opportunities, and support development
- Provide support to junior staff in daily work
- Maintain operational risk awareness and ensure processes comply with regulations, minimizing processing risk and identifying risk gaps in the end‑to‑end process
- Participate in projects, changes, and implementations at the team level
Qualifications
- Good command of English and computer literacy, especially in MS Outlook and Excel; willingness to learn and gain experience in the financial world
- Ability to work independently and in teams, with analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines; we will train you on order placement and trade settlement even if you have no prior knowledge of capital markets
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience is required (experience in the finance industry is preferred). Willingness to work in capital markets and determination to learn
