Middle Accountant

Responsible for ensuring the financial integrity of the N-iX Poland legal entity and compliance with local GAAP and IFRS standards. This role involves timely and accurate preparation of monthly reporting packages, collection of all primary accounting documents and registers, posting of accounting transactions in the Optima Comarch ERP system, and performing detailed reconciliations.

Duties

• Ensure compliance with Polish GAAP and IFRS and any other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Manage the collection and posting of accounting documents and transactions in Comarch Optima ERP, verifying that entries are properly documented and meet both local legal requirements and Group policy standards.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure timely implementation within the company.
• Execute and oversee monthly closing procedures in accordance with headquarters guidelines and Polish best practices.
• Prepare bookkeeping inputs and journal entries, including necessary supporting documentation as required by Polish law or company policy.
• Perform comprehensive reconciliations of general ledger accounts to ensure financial data accuracy and completeness; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Assist senior colleagues with their ad hoc requests per provided detailed instructions or templates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related professional experience in accountancy (Accountant or GL Specialist positions).
• Upper-intermediate English.
• ACCA (at least in progress) or equivalent professional qualification is a plus.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, proficiency with accounting software Optima Comarch – necessary.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex financial processes independently.
