The Middle Accountant will ensure the financial integrity of the N-iX Poland legal entity, maintaining compliance with local GAAP and IFRS standards. Key responsibilities include timely and accurate preparation of monthly reporting packages, collection of accounting documents, posting of transactions in the Optima Comarch ERP system, and performing detailed reconciliations.

Duties

• Ensure compliance with Polish GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Manage the collection and posting of accounting documents and transactions in Comarch Optima ERP, verifying that entries meet legal and group policy standards.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and implement them in a timely manner.
• Execute and oversee monthly closing procedures in accordance with headquarters guidelines and Polish best practices.
• Prepare bookkeeping inputs and journal entries, including necessary supporting documentation as required by Polish law or company policy.
• Perform comprehensive reconciliations of general ledger accounts to ensure financial data accuracy and completeness; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Assist senior colleagues with ad‑hoc requests per detailed instructions or templates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accountancy (Accountant or GL Specialist positions).
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency.
• ACCA (in progress) or equivalent professional qualification, a plus.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Optima Comarch accounting software.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex financial processes independently.
