Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Polish GAAP and IFRS and any other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Manage the collection and posting of accounting documents and transactions in Comarch Optima ERP, verifying that entries are properly documented and meet both local legal requirements and Group policy standards.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure timely implementation within the company.
• Execute and oversee monthly closing procedures in accordance with headquarters guidelines and Polish best practices.
• Prepare bookkeeping inputs and journal entries, including necessary supporting documentation as required by Polish law or company policy.
• Perform comprehensive reconciliations of general ledger accounts to ensure financial data accuracy and completeness. Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring all financial information aligns with supporting documents.
• Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Assist senior colleagues with their ad hoc requests per provided detailed instructions or templates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related professional experience in Accountancy (Accountant or GL Specialist positions).
• Upper‑intermediate English.
• ACCA (at least in progress) or equivalent professional qualification will be a plus.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, proficiency with accounting software Optima Comarch – necessary.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex financial processes independently.
