Middle Financial Accountant – ACCA Careers

We at N‑iX, a global software development service company, invite you to apply for a Middle Accountant role in our Poland entity. N‑iX was founded in 2002 and now operates in nine countries, including Poland. The role ensures the financial integrity of the N‑iX Poland legal entity, ensuring compliance with Polish GAAP, IFRS and local regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Polish GAAP and IFRS and any other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Manage the collection and posting of accounting documents and transactions in Comarch Optima ERP, verifying entries are properly documented and meet local legal requirements and Group policy standards.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure timely implementation within the company.
• Execute and oversee monthly closing procedures in accordance with headquarters guidelines and Polish best practices.
• Prepare bookkeeping inputs and journal entries, including necessary supporting documentation as required by Polish law or company policy.
• Perform comprehensive reconciliations of general ledger accounts, investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring all financial information aligns with supporting documents.
• Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Assist senior colleagues with ad‑hoc requests per provided instructions or templates.
• Cooperate with outsourced accountants as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related professional experience in accountancy (Accountant or GL Specialist positions).
• Upper‑intermediate English.
• ACCA (at least in progress) or an equivalent professional qualification is a plus.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Optima Comarch accounting software.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex financial processes independently.
